Yesterday, July 22, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Great American Outdoors Act. This landmark legislation received strong bipartisan support with a vote of 310-107. The act provides $9.5 billion to address the infrastructure on America’s public lands and waterways. It also provides full and permanent funding to the Land and Water Conservation Fund, and ensures $15 million annually is dedicated to increasing public access for hunting, fishing, and recreational shooting opportunities.
