Anycubic WILL NOT go for water washable resin now Dear Anycubic customers,
Quite a number of customers and social media followers were asking if Anycubic has a plan and would release water washable resin any time soon. We would like to respond to you all here🎙🎙🎙:... We are working diligently and trying hard to provide convenient and easier-to-use resin for the 3D community. We appreciate other brands making great efforts to benefit the 3D printer users too. However, Anycubic does not think it is the right time yet to produce water washable resin and will not release it any time soon. The major reason is resin has to contain photon initiator and monomers which are harsh to ecosystem and water creatures when going down to the sewage. A resin printer is based on photon initialization and we don’t see this would go anytime soon. We know a water washable resin will save you time and mess, but we care for the earth we all live with just as you do. Here below is a screenshot of a test report on resin’s effect on water and water creatures. It speaks for itself.
