The side of the job people avoid because it defines whether you genuinely care. Garmin is about more than just selling products! Sadly for @bennytherunner, today wasn’t his day at the Melbourne Marathon. The body wouldn’t let him accomplish what he’s capable of. Last year the guy ran a 2:44 marathon only 4 years after he decided to take up running. This was partly because I gave him a spare/used Garmin watch in 2013 making him promise he’ll run. Disappointed with himself, h...e came up to me today and wanted to give me his Garmin running singlet back saying “I don’t deserve this”. I replied “No mate, you’re going to need it for Gold Coast Marathon next year as you’re going to run a sub 2:40 for us there”. Just like that, the fire is reignited and we’re flying him to @gcmarathon. Watch this space! Well done today @bennytherunner! #beatyesterday #garmincommunity 展开
