For today's #TransformationTuesday, we're sharing the story of Cris, The Happy Fit. Weight loss isn’t easy and it doesn’t come quickly, for sure. Cris will be the first to tell you that, and that you shouldn’t be afraid to start again. “I have been on the heavier side of the scale and I know I had to change for my overall well-being.” Now, she’s down to 118 pounds from her heaviest weight (180lbs), but it took her 1 year of cardio/dancing in group fitness classes and 5 years... of running and strength+core training. She’s not always motivated but according to her, “Finding a sport to enjoy and love was the key for me to stay consistent living a fit and active lifestyle. There are certainly times when I feel lazy and demotivated; but when you are happy with what you do, you will always have a reason to do it over and over again, to keep coming back – and luckily, I found it in running. 🙂” Cris started running last 2014 and has never stopped running the world since then. She’s been using her Garmin Forerunner 235 for less than a year now, having owned a Forerunner 910xt before and have been winning races since then.
