Repost: "I’ve always loved creating with smoke and reflections. This challenge was an opportunity to combine the two. I used a roll of silver MYLAR material which gives a very surreal, rippled reflection; unlike any hard rigid surface. I used a single Godox #AD200pro light with a Teal coloured gel and grid camera left, fired manually at 1/16th power by a #X2TC. The light ...was fired directly at the MYLAR roll and illuminated my face with the bounced light. The final image was rotated and cropped it to give it a feeling of reaching down into a watery reflection. Godox provides me with beautiful, consistent light every time. ”
