The gala round of Huawei ‘Seeds for the Future’ was held on 2nd September 2020. The program was aimed at providing advanced training in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and ICT for the development of young meritorious students in Bangladesh. Chen Mingjie, Vice President of Huawei (Asia Pacific Region), was present at the event, along with Mr. Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, MP, Deputy Minister of Education as the Chief Guest and Ms. Beatrice Kaldun, UNESCO cou...ntry Representative and Head of Office at UNESCO Bangladesh as the Special Guest and the main speaker. Zhang Zhengjun, CEO of Huawei Technologies Limited (Bangladesh) and other Huawei officials were also present at the event to inspire the winners. The winners of Huawei ‘Seeds of the Future’ are, Afsara Banzir and Khondoker Mushfiqur Rahman (C.S.E Department, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology), Tasnia Sultana and Abdullah Al Miraj (E.E.E Department, Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology), Rabeya Tus Sadia and Amit Karmaker (C.S.E Department, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology), Adiba Tabassum Chowdhury and Arifur Rahman (E.E.E Department, Dhaka University), and Faria Rahman and Foyez-Ul Islam (E.E.E Department, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology).
