The new JOYO Infinite Guitar Sustainer is used to produce a variety of sounds not normally playable on a guitar using traditional #strumming or #picking techniques. The infinite sustaining sound is created by placing the JGE onto/above the string. The JGE drives the string to vibrate a sustained note. With this feedback loop the #guitarist can create a continuous string vibration. Fading in and out by lowering, raising and repositioning near pickups, the result is a similar e...ffect to using a #bow. Although the infinite sustainer would most commonly be played on the electric guitar, because of its ease of use and the responsiveness obtainable from the pickup, experimentation with other types of string instruments are always going to happen.
