One question we get asked a lot is what's the purpose of the high CRI output on some of our headlamps like the NU32. CRI stands for color rendering index and rates the ability of a light source to mimic natural sunlight on a scale of 1 to 100. All of our lights labeled as "high CRI" have a rating of 90 or above. What this means for you? These outputs are ideal for up close and detail work. You'll immediately notice subtle details and warmer colors compared to a cool white LED.
