If the New Year were a god or godness, how do you imagine it? 🤔
So @paulinaapc hold this contest and the winners @cucurbitv and @kariidraw give their answer. For @cucurbitv: " A goddess who gets old and then is born again, marking a new year (something like a Russian doll that's in an infinite loop). In this sense, it can be interpreted as the passage of time, let go of the old and welcome the new, the restart of a cycle, and more metaphorically, reinventing yourself with... this year change, remaining the same but different." For @kariidraw:" Based on the god Janus, the god of beginnings, the two-faced god who sees both the old years and future new years, which is why he has two faces, one young and one old. His body, made of calendar sheets of paper, symbolizes all the days and months of a year. While what he is holding are the two pillars of time representing the past and the future respectively. With a ring in each one, and the 12 months of the year in each one ending with a sparkler."
