Here's an interesting version of the H501... The Wifi controlled Air H501A. All the benefits of the 'S' but without the cost of having to pay for a controller. The downside, well, it goes without saying - range! But that won't put many people off. In fact, to the contrary, because the 501A will automatically return to the vicinity of the GPS smartphone that it's being used with, should it lose signal or go out of range....making it almost impossible to lose!
