This is a fast SSD from a trusted manufacturer. There are theoretically faster SSD's available (at a higher cost) but unless you are using them professionally with resource intensive apps or data, or are testing them via bench marking software, the differences in speed are hard for a typical user to perceive. As prices for speedy SSD's have dropped, I have stopped using standard HDD's when building gaming PC's for my family. Reading, writing, and loading from an SSD is so much faster than a traditional HDD that it is hard to go back. If you don't want to populate your PC with only SSD technology, you will at least want to use this as a boot drive for your OS. Great product.
